Edwin Meese, the blowhard Attorney General who decided that porn was worse than communism, sent out a warning to retailers that they need to stop selling porn - including cheesecake and artsy magazines like Playboy. Playboy sued, but they also put out an offer for 7-Eleven employees to make a little money on the side.
